30 frames of reportage wedding photography: 3

Most women shed the odd tear hear and there throughout day - to - day life. I'm sorry if you think I'm being stereotypical, but in my experience its true. However, also slightly stereotypical, but men rarely show their true feelings and emotions, particularly in public. Thats what makes a guys wedding day so unique and creates a rare opportunity for me as a documentary wedding photographer to capture these rare and special moments. Often these wedding photographs are captured just before the Bride enters the ceremony, so the only chance she has to see the emotions of her husband to be as he awaits her arrival is is a moment I capture for the happy couple to relive together in their wedding album.

Why I love this photo

The focus of the wedding is traditionally the bride, but I absolutely love the expressions and emotions shown by the groom on a wedding day.

They say a picture says 1000 words, but this grooms face says more than that alone. Its such a privilege as a wedding photographer to capture such a wonderful part of the wedding story for the bride to see for herself when the newlyweds get to see their wedding album for the first time.
