Cambridgeshire Pet Photographer's charity fundraising for Animal Health Trust

In 2016 Nia & James The Photographersdecided to direct the attention of our photography skills towards a challenge to raise funds for a local charity that has proved very important in our lives. Our gorgeous pet Labrador, Wilson had surgery on his elbows at Dick White Referrals during 2015 when he was just 18 months old. To give him the best chance in life we embarked on a course of hydrotherapy provided by the Animal Health Trust, Newmarket. The team here have been absolutely fantastic with Wilson, which is why we wanted to give something back. We challenged ourselves to photograph 30 different dog breeds in 30 days with 100% of the booking fee being donated.

Our campaign attracted a huge amount of breed variety from Jack Russel terriers to Newfoundlands, 8 week old puppies to golden oldies and and whole host of everything in between. We had so many applications and would like to thank each and every one of the owners who entered their dogs and supported our charity fundraiser, helping us raise in excess of £1000 for this amazing cause.

We absolutely loved meeting every single one of these gorgeous dogs and their fantastic owners who paid a session fee of which 100% was donated to the AHT. We loved it so much that 2017 is going to see us stretch even further with the launch of an even bigger campaign.

This year, Animal Health Trust  celebrates 75 years of fighting disease and injury in animals. To help celebrate this landmark occasion, we are going to once again start our search for a huge variety of dog breeds to photograph, but instead of 30 breeds, we are going to be looking for (you've guessed it) 75 breeds. Our campaign is scheduled for launch on February 1st. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for more details or register you interest now by completing our contact form
